Entry to Year 7 in September 2018
Our 2017 prospectus is available via the link on the right.
To read the complete Admissions Policy, which includes the admission number into Year 7 and over-subscription criteria, please use the link to the right to download the document. There is also a link to a document giving further information and telling you how to apply.
The Academy takes part in the Pan-London Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme. To make an application, you need to complete your local authority’s form available from your child’s primary school or from your local authority’s School Admissions team. This form is also available via your local authority's website (e-admissions).
All applicants are considered for Community places. If you also wish to be considered for a Foundation (church) place, you will also need to complete the Wren Academy Supplementary Information Form which will be enclosed at the back of the hard copy prospectus or it can be downloaded from the link on the right. If you are applying for a Community place you do not need to complete this form. Click on the links on the right of this page to find out more about the Admissions Policy, Foundation and Community places and also how to apply.
Admission points for Foundation places will be awarded only on the following basis:
- children whose parents regularly attend a Church of England church (2 points)
- children whose parents regularly attend a church of any Christian denomination in fellowship with the Church of England (1 point)
Full details of the Academy's admission arrangements can be found in the policy document which is available via the link on the right. If having read the policy you have any further questions about our admission arrangements, please email our Admissions department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entry to other secondary year groups and in-year entry
The Academy is full in all year groups and we do have waiting lists. For entry into the current Years 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11, or for entry during the school year, in the first instance, please download the Waiting List form from the link to the right of this page and return it to the Academy. Local authorities co-ordinate in-year admissions and therefore you must also contact the London Borough of Barnet to obtain their In Year Admissions Form. This form can be completed online via their website (click here for link) or you can request a hard copy from them.
