Wren Academy is sponsored by the Diocese of London and has a Christian ethos. The Revd Simon Kirby works part time in the Academy as Chaplain to help support the students and staff as they build the Wren Community.
During their time at the Academy students and staff will have opportunities to explore issues of faith and religion primarily through the curriculum but also through other activities. They will experience worship through assemblies and special celebrations and if they want to they will be able to engage more deeply with issues about faith.
The Chaplain hopes to support students and staff whatever their faith background as they face the challenges around them, by providing ongoing opportunities for reflection and discussion.
