In the latest newsletter (Nov 08), the Principal, Michael Whitworth, writes:
We have had a busy but successful first few weeks. Students have settled in very well to
our routines and they look extremely smart in their new uniforms. Lessons are motivating and exciting with very high levels of student engagement
and participation.
We are also pleased with the learning environment at Wren. Our Year 7 buildings were finished on time and have been
well received by students, staff and visitors. There is still some finishing off to be done, for example our ICT systems are not yet working
as we would wish, but overall the Academy is providing a high quality environment for our students.
We look forward to continuing our
progress throughout the rest of the year and will use the newsletter as a way of reporting back to parents on what is happening at Wren. |
