Welcome to Wren Academy

Welcome to the Wren Academy website. We recognise how important this site is to members of our school community and to the many visitors it receives. Hopefully, you will find the site interesting and useful. We hope that it is friendly and easy to use and that it leaves you wanting to visit the Academy in person.

Wren Academy is an 11-18 secondary school in the London Borough of Barnet. Since opening in 2008, the Academy has grown each year until reaching our full student numbers of about 1150 in September 2014.

The Academy has quickly established a reputation for high academic standards and for an innovative and challenging curriculum. We are a comprehensive school and pride ourselves on providing teaching and learning which engages all students. Our achievements have been endorsed by excellent examination results and by an 'outstanding' Ofsted report which described teaching at Wren as 'stunning' and behaviour as 'impeccable'.

The Academy, specialising in Design and the Built Environment, is sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and by Berkhamsted School. Wren is situated in new buildings with great facilities on Hilton Avenue.

You will find out much more about the Academy on this site.
